Biography

Board Certified in Construction Law by the Florida Bar (since 2008), Mr. Malka is recognized as an expert in Florida's Construction Law. This certification is the highest recognition of competence provided by the Florida Bar.

Throughout his 25+ year career, Mr. Malka's practice has primarily focused on matters relating to construction law, including, litigation and arbitration of claims and defenses relating to construction liens, payment and performance bonds, and construction defects.

In 2009, Mr. Malka became certified as a "Circuit Court Civil" Mediator by the Supreme Court of Florida (since 2009). Since then, he has been called upon by a growing number of experienced Construction lawyers throughout the State of Florida to mediate their cases and has helped hundreds of litigants resolve their disputes without the need for a trial.

As a Board-Certified expert in Construction Law and a Certified Mediator, Mr. Malka has the unique set of skills and experience to assistant parties in resolving their construction case disputes. He brings excellent communication and listening skills, thinks creatively, and helps the parties explore solutions that may not always be available if the case went to trial.
